Why we’re taking part
At DCE, we care about our people and the communities we work in, and STRYDE4 gives us a genuine way to put that into action. We are proud to support positive mental health initiatives and encourage wellbeing in everyday life.
This year, we are fundraising for organisations creating real impact, including Strong Women Talking, Literacy for Life, Well Thanks, and The Hunger Project.
We are joining STRYDE4 to show up for each other, have fun as a team, and support a cause that strengthens our industry and community. Every step counts, and we are glad to be part of something that brings people together for a good reason.

Strong Women Talking: Healing Through Culture: Empowering Indigenous
Women's Resilience - This innovative project offers a series of cultural healing workshops designed specifically for Indigenous women who have experienced trauma. The program combines traditional healing practices with modern therapeutic approaches, creating a unique and culturally appropriate space for healing and empowerment.
Literacy for Life: Lifting Literacy
A First Nations organisation supporting local communities to lift adult English literacy levels through a community-led approach. Lifting literacy leads to improvements in health, justice, employment and further education. It is an important step in closing the gap and paves the way for the next generation. Your support can change lives.
Well Thanks: In a Good Place
In a Good Place helps rural and regional Australian communities create local, grassroots projects that support mental wellbeing and connection. This funding will provide community-led initiatives that reduce social isolation, decrease mental health stigma, and create supportive environments where everyone feels valued.
The Hunger Project
The Hunger Project is a global movement committed to creating a world without hunger by flipping the traditional charity model on its head. Instead of top-down aid, we empower courageous local leaders and communities to transform mindsets, build strong social institutions, and foster vibrant local democracies that create lasting change. Together, we are urgently scaling this work to challenge an unequal system and fast-track an unstoppable transformation toward a hunger-free world.
