CANCER
-
We get it. Life is full of possibilities when cancer crashes into a young person’s world and shatters everything. Cancer pushes them back into the nest, makes them grow up too fast and weighs them down with worries they’re not supposed to have yet. Canteen is the game-changer. We help young people cope with cancer in their families. Through Canteen, they learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancer, connect with other young people in the same boat and if they’ve been diagnosed themselves, we also provide specialist, youth-specific treatment teams.

Women’s Community Shelters (WCS) addresses the critical shortage of crisis accommodation for women experiencing homelessness. Every night, over half of the women seeking shelter are turned away due to a lack of space. WCS works with communities to establish new shelters that offer safe, short-term accommodation and essential support services, such as counselling, healthcare, legal aid, and assistance with education and employment. These services empower women to rebuild their lives and regain control.
Through an innovative tri-partite funding model, WCS brings together government, philanthropy/business, and local communities to fund and operate shelters. We also provide expert support in governance, intellectual property, and project management to ensure shelters run efficiently and deliver positive outcomes for women. With a dedicated team, WCS ensures each shelter achieves best practices while maintaining cost efficiency and long-term impact.

Dignity in Action
Across Melbourne’s streets, hundreds of people face nights without warmth, safety, or support. Through our Outreach Program, 300 Blankets volunteers bring more than blankets and supplies, we bring dignity, care, and connection. With $10,000, we can fund 50 nights of Outreach, supporting people with warm blankets, hygiene packs, clothing and genuine conversations that remind them they are not forgotten. Help us grow 1,000 trees for Australia’s future! Every $10 donated plants one native tree – funding the full restoration lifecycle from seed collection and nursery propagation to planting, protection, and 2–3 years of maintenance. This ensures real, lasting impact by restoring degraded habitats, connecting ecosystems, and supporting threatened species. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to plant 1,000 trees as part of our Landscape Resilience Program, building stronger, healthier ecosystems in the face of climate change and habitat loss.
The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife has been protecting Australia’s natural heritage for over 55 years, and together we’ve planted more than 1 million trees since the Black Summer fires. With your help, we’re on track to reach 8 million by 2030. By supporting the STRYDE4 challenge, you’ll help expand native nurseries, build fire-wise landscapes, and strengthen climate resilience—restoring biodiversity where it’s needed most and securing a future for our wildlife, landscapes, and communities.https://fnpw.org.au/
